Class I Felony if $2,501 to $5,000
Class H Felony if $5,001 to $10,000
Class G Felony if over $10,000
Theft of a business setting Misdemeanor or Felony By virtue of his or her office, business or employment, or as trustee or bailee, having possession or custody of money or of a negotiable security, instrument, paper or other negotiable writing of another, intentionally uses, transfers, conceals, or retains possession of such money, security, instrument, paper or writing without the owner's consent, contrary to his or her authority, and with intent to convert to his or her own use or to the use of any other person except the owner. Class A Misdemeanor if property is less than $2,500 Class I Felony if $2,501 to $5,000
Class H Felony if $5,001 to $10,000
Class G Felony if over $10,000
Retail Theft-Intentionally Take Misdemeanor or Felony if he or she does any of the following without the merchant's consent and with intent to deprive the merchant permanently of possession or the full purchase price of the merchandise or property Intentionally takes and carries away merchandise held for resale by a merchant or property of a merchant. Class A Misdemeanor if property is less than $2,500 Class I Felony if $2,501 to $5,000
Class H Felony if $5,001 to $10,000
Class G Felony if over $10,000
