In addition to bicycle and other injury cases, I also help people with other injuries including car accidents, semi truck accidents, and other cases where someone hurts someone else.

I also have substantial experience helping people who have been charged with a crime. In the past, I took helped take cases for the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office. This allowed me to help people who did not have enough money to pay for a lawyer. It was a great way to give back to the community. It also kept me sharp because people who practice criminal law usually spend much more time in courtrooms fighting than those who just practice civil law.

I have been able to use what I know from criminal law to help people who have been hurt. Example, in a past case I represented a person who was riding his bicycle when struck and seriously injured by a hit and run driver. Because I am familiar with criminal law, I was able to have a hearing with the criminal court judge who ordered restitution (money paid to my client) for his injuries. This was part of the criminal case and the money was in addition to a large amount of money that came from the injured person’s uninsured motorist coverage.

Some examples of the many people I have helped in the past that were charged with crimes include:
